October Days

Well another week has gone by, and it was a pretty good one... I had a couple of very great experiences this week that I would love to share with you... One of my friends here, Erica, who is here doing a Missionary Associate assignment with the Assemblies of God is preparing to go back to the US this coming week. So I wanted to go spend some time with her. We ended up going to lunch one day this week, with a very wise korean man. He is an international business man and is very involved in Korean politics. Anyway he told us stories about Korean History and Politics and I feel a little smarter and blessed just to have been in his presence. He goes to the church we go to and he couldn't have been better company for that day...

Then today I went to an English service at a Korean Church here with a friend of mine. The service was great, and it was wonderful to worship in the presence of Koreans and Foreigners alike... I imagine that is a lot like what heaven will be like one day... Altogether, people from all nations will worship together the King of Kings, our Almighty God... After the service my friend and I along with some of her coworkers went for Korean food, and had a good evening full of great conversation and great company.

The longer I am here, the more people I meet, and the more I realize how amazing of an experience this really is... Everyday I am learning something new, and meeting new people with different ways of thinking and living. I feel like God is opening my eyes to see more than just my little section of the world that is all I have ever known. There is so much to this world, and I am blessed to be able to experience new things.
