Another month here and gone

Well I have now been here for over 3 months. It's still as intense as the day I arrived. I don't think I could ever become "used to" some of the things that I see and experience here on a regular basis. But as days come and go, I find myself starting to feel a little bit more comfortable here. Routine has become my best friend it seems. Most days I do the same thing, and that makes things a little bit easier being so far away from everything I am acustomed to.

But yesterday was by far the best day I have had here in Korea yet. And it was far from typical...Some of my friends and I went South a little bit to a Korean Folk Village. It was kind of like a Korean version of Silver Dollar City, for those of you who are familiar with that. So it was a lot of traditional Korean stuff and a little amusment park as well. We had so much fun. And seeing a part of the ancient Korean look was amazing. In a place almost as far east as you can go from the Western world Korea has a way of being oddly western for the most part. So it was cool to see some of the stuff from the ancient traditional years of Korea.

In my last post I shared with you my love for musicals and told you about my desire to make a musical out of my life, well in all truth its just silliness, but for those of you who know me well, you know I am a pretty silly girl, so here is just one clip from my musical. So I do warn you, this could be a pretty strange video..... So watch it at your own risk.......An Ode to Kimchi
